GATTMAN — Willie “Dean” Otts, 86, died Sept. 28, 2025, at her residence.

Funeral services are at noon Friday, at Otts Funeral Home Chapel, with Thad Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Otts Funeral Home of Sulligent is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Otts was born Aug. 17, 1939, in Lamar County, to the late Vance Ohlen Nethery and Ruby Mae Humphery Nethery. She attended Lamar County schools.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Oliver Otts; siblings, Daniel Nethery, Frank Nethery, Doug Nethery, Rob Nethery, Donnie Nethery and Doris Nethery Williams; and one grandchild.

She is survived by her children, Harold Otts of Gattman and Willi eMae Huguley of Hamilton; brother, Wayne Nethery; three grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Josh Otts, Brian Guyton, Dakota Otts, Tyler Otts, Kelby Guyton and Sage Guyton.
