WEST POINT — Willie James Kelley Jr., 69, died June 24, 2026, at his residence. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Bryan Union Hall with Dan McCullom officiating. Burial will follow at West Point Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-5 p.m. Tuesday, at Carter’s Mortuary Services. Carter’s Mortuary Services of West Point is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Kelley was born Sept. 19, 1956, in Oktibbeha County, to the late Willie James Kelley Sr. and Essie Jane Randle Kelley. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Qulie C. Kelley. 

He is survived by his wife, Mary L. Johnson Kelley; son, Tommie Ray Kelley; daughters, Dwana Kelley and Latoya Kelley; brothers, Humphris Kelley, Robert M. Kelley and Tommie James Kelley; sisters, Nancy Kelley Ricks and Martha L. Kelley; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
