WEST POINT — Willie James Davis, 75, died Oct. 8, 2025, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. 

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, at Union Start M.B. Church, with the Rev. Gregory Pegues officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Visitation was from 4-5 p.m. Saturday, at Carter’s Mortuary Services. Carter’s Mortuary Services of West Point was in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Davis was born Dec. 30, 1949, in Clay County, to the late Henry Davis and Lucille Halbert Davis. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was formerly employed with the United States Postal Service.
