MACON — Willie Robert “Bust Down” Arnold, 64, died July 11, 2025, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, at Mt. Carmel M.B. Church, with Ricardus Mixon officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-5 p.m. Thursday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Macon is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Arnold was born Feb. 6, 1961, in Noxubee County, to the late Willie Arnold and Lattie Little Arnold. He was a member of Mt. Carmel M.B. Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Julius Mason; and three grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Theresa White of Waldorf, New York, Natash Smith and Shumeeka Pomerlee, both of Macon, and Mieshue Phillips of Brooksville; brother, Willie B. Slaughter of Macon; and 11 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ryheem Stewart, Kevorious Harris, Darrione Stewart, Marcus Conner, Jimetri Johnson and Quantaveous King.
