COLUMBUS — Willie James “Bo” Abrams, 71, died Aug. 10, 2025, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, at Shiloh Full Gospel M.B. Church, with the Rev. Therman Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. Thursday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Abrams was born Feb. 28, 1954, in Columbus, to Beulah Mae Abrams and the late Eula Abrams. He was formerly employed at Eagle Alloy Corp.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Abrams.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sons, Anthony Boyd of Chicago, Illinois, and Javonte D. Guyton of Columbus; siblings, Eula Williams, Annette Bradley, Billy McShan and Fannie Abrams, all of Columbus, Diane Singleton of Peoria, Illinois, Mary Hood of Raleigh, North Carolina, Larry Abrams of Tupelo, and Joe L. Abrams of Marietta, Georgia; and four grandchildren.
