ALICEVILLE, Ala. — William Daniel Parham, 62, died Feb. 1, 2010, at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home. Services are Thursday at 2 p.m. at Dogwood Chapel with the Rev. David Barrentine officiating. Burial will follow in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery. Visitation is today from 6-8 p.m. at the chapel. Skelton Funeral Home of Reform is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Parham was born April 9, 1947, in Pickens County, Ala., to the late William Otis Parham and Mary Elizabeth Free Parham. He was of Baptist faith, an employee of Paul Bryant Jr. Farms and a former member of the Alabama National Guard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sherry Parham, and brothers, Terry Parham. He is survived by his wife, Rose Marie Parham, of Aliceville; daughter, Katina Marie Parham Harkin, of Aliceville; sisters, Mary Howard, of Reform, Ala., Robin Humphreys, of West Greene, Ala., and Wynett Parham; brothers, Ken Parham, of Aliceville, and Ricky Parham, of Gordo, Ala.; step mother, Mary Louise Parham, of Gordo; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
