William Robert Buckner, III, 73, was born on September 4, 1951, to the late William R. (Billy) Buckner, Jr. and Lavern Turner Buckner. He passed away on January 7, 2025.

He was a retired Electrician for IBEW. He was a talented musician and played the guitar in a Bluegrass Band that performed in the 1984 World Fair.

William is survived by his daughter, Jennifer B. Williamson; sons, Bill Buckner, IV and Josh Buckner; grandchildren, Taylor Griggs, Laken Moore, Ivy Schneider, Drew Williamson, Peyton Buckner and Rhoe Williamson; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Linda McMinn; and brother, Donny Buckner.
