COLUMBUS — William “Billy” Charles Brauer III, 44, died Oct. 25, 2025, at his residence. 

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Thursday, at Lowndes Funeral Home. Lowndes Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Brauer was born May 4, 1981, in Chester, Pennsylvania, to Beverly McPherson McDermott and the late William Charles Brauer Jr. He was formerly employed as an electrician. 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Crystal Amber Lowe Brauer; and children, John Thomas Cayden Gillian, James Dalton Lowe, Christopher McNutt and Ethan Blake McNutt.
