Wendy Kaye Naramore Hays passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025, after a courageous battle
with mesothelioma in her home with loved ones. While we prayed for a miracle, we came to realize
that the miracle was the extra time we had with her. She defied the odds and gave her loved ones the gift of one more year – one more year of love and memories that will last a lifetime.

A celebration of Wendy’s life will be held on Saturday, August 23, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 413 Abernathy Dr, Starkville, MS 39759. Visitation from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. CST. Funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Curtis Chapel Cemetery. The family welcomes flowers and donations to the Homeward Bound Project of Mississippi. You are welcome to wear maroon, tie- dye, and any other groovy clothes. Cowbells will be rung at the graveside service. Please bring a cowbell.

She is survived by her parents, Glen and Linda Naramore; her mother-in law, Carrie Frances Wilson Hays; her husband, Paul Hays; her children, Paul, Rick (Trisha), Jacob (Emily) and Shane; her step-children, Natalie (Noah), James and Adam; her nephew, Brant; her grandchildren, Isaac, Sadie, Phoebe, Daisy, Calvin and William.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Shane Naramore; and her maternal grandparents, James and Clevie Mae Britt; and paternal grandparents, Allen Naramore and Lillie Pearl Naramore.
