COLUMBUS — Wanda Dean Harris Hubbard, 57, died Aug. 20, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle. 

Funeral services will be at  2 p.m. Friday, at Shiloh Full Gospel M.B. Church, with Demarrio Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-6 p.m. Thursday, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Hubbard was born Oct. 30, 1967, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, to Rudy Ellis and the late Edgar Harper. She was formerly employed at Big Lots, Citi Trends, Walmart Supercenter, Hardee’s and Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. She was a member of Shiloh F.G.M.B. Church. 

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, ReShan Harris of Columbus; and sister, Belinda Hatchett of Bedford, Texas. 

Pallbearers will be Floyd Lash, Joe Lash, Eddie Covington, Eric Ellis, Jeffrey Ellis, Rodney Baker and Leon Hill.
