NOXUBEE COUNTY — W.L. “Dub” Hull, 93, died Aug. 24, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Harrison Grove M.B. Church in Shuqulak, with Marquis Jenkins officiating. Buwil will follow at Martin Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Friday, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Macon is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Hull was born Jan. 24, 1932, in Noxubee County to the late John Hull and Sue Lee Hull. He was a member of Harrison Grove M.B. Church. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Liza Hull.

He is survived by his children, Barbara Parks of Omaha, Nebraska, and Ollie Lovelace of Shuqualak; siblings, Elnora Hill of Shuqualak and Mary Prince of Anderson, Indiana; four grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
