COLUMBUS — Mary Alice Virginia Lashley Aaron, 74, died May 21, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Vibrant Church, with Ethan Boggs officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul M.B. Church Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Aaron was born June 2, 1951, in Columbus, to the late Ethel Harris Davis Lashley Wilson and William Lashley. She attended Mitchell Memorial and R.E. Hunt High School and was formerly employed as a supervisor with Microtek Medical, Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, and Ability Works. She was a member of Vibrant Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Freddie Davis, Johnny Lashley and Mary J. Davis Clayborn.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Lee Aaron; children, Tanya Webb of Griffin, Georgia, Thomas Ramone Aaron of Douglasville, Georgia; Crystal Aaron of Columbus, and Christina Davis of Starkville; step-son, Jervais Billups of Columbus; siblings, Jimi Mosley, Rose Robertson, Johnny Lash, Floyd Lash, Lloyd Lash, Joe Lash and Elijah Lash; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Johnathan Davis, Trevor Lashley, Tywon Aaron, Chris Webb, Alexander Lashley and Bennie Aaron.
