MACON — Viola “Tuzzie” Kincaid, 76, died April 22, 2026, at her residence.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, at Millers Chapel M.B. Church, with the Rev. Nathaniel Ron Houston Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-3 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Macon is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Kincaid was born Jan. 3, 1950, in Noxubee County, to the late Walter and Annie Mae Mitchell. She was formerly employed with United Technologies and was a member of Millers Chapel M.B. Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Kincaid; and siblings, Doris Wilbon, Bertha Mae Swann, Annie Carol, Walter Mitchell, Lillie Ruth McCloud and the Rev. William Mitchell.

She is survived by her children, Nakii Kincaid, Tracy Mitchell, Timothy Mitchell and Tijunia Mitchell, all of Macon, Darold Mitchell of Madison, Cjhar Fairley of Columbus, and Stacy Mitchell of Crawford; and 19 grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Hassan Swann, Juin Wilbon, Shannon Rupert, Jeffrey Hopkins, Lamarcus Jones Jr. and Traquoris Brewer Jr.
