COLUMBUS — William Victor “Vic” Lancaster, 94, died Aug. 20, at Vineyard Court Nursing Home. 

A private family graveside service will be held at Memorial Gardens. Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Lancaster was born June 9, 1931, in Drew, to the late Robert and Gladys Leggett Lancaster. He was a graduate of Lee High School and was formerly employed at Firestone and Graham Tire and Lowndes Radial Tire. He attended First Baptist Church. 

He is survived by his wife, June Lancaster; and daughter, Vickie McCommon.
