WEST POINT — Trinda Wells, 63, died June 3, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle. 

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, at Brooksville Mennonite Church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home. Cockrell Funeral Home of Macon is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Wells was born June 22, 1962, to Betty Giesbrecht and the late Bill Giesbrecht. She attended South Haven Mennonite Church.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Darren. 

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, James Wells of West Point; children, Tisha Koehn of Shuqualak, Jerome Koehn of Fairview, Oklahoma, and Amber Howerton of Yukon, Oklahoma; siblings, Rona Koehn, Philip Giesbrecht and Kayla Warkentin; and five grandchildren.
