STARKVILLE — Trayous Lavell “Treg” Bevill, 49, died July 6, 2025, at Noxubee General Hospital in Macon.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Hairston and Hairston Funeral Homes Chapel, with Frederick Conners officiating. Burial will follow at Sessums Community Cemetery. Visitation is from 1-5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Hairston and Hairston Funeral Homes of Starkville is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Bevill was born April 4, 1976, in Starkville, to John Ellis Bevill and Peggy Lynn Watt Bevill. He was a 1994 graduate of B.L. Moor High School and was formerly employed as a landscaper at Mississippi State University, with the Sqwincher Corporation, and in janitorial services at the Family Center Program Preschool. He attended Austin Church of Christ Holiness USA.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Chelsea Quna Bevill.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Ja’kyra Bevill, Ja’Ryrah Bevill and Brianna Fisher Bevill; sister, Rashida Junta Bevill; and one grandchild.
