COLUMBUS — Tommie Lee Harris Sr., 80, died Dec. 16, 2025, in Amory.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Concord Independent Methodist Church, with Robert Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation is from 2-6 pm. Friday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Harris was born July 23, 1945, in Columbus, to the late Willie James Harris and Florence Harris. He was formerly employed with Johnston Tombigbee Furniture Company and Airline Manufacturing. He was a member of Concord I.M. Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Tommie Lee Harris Jr.; siblings, Willie C. Harris, Star Lee Harris and Ida Mae Coley; and one grandchild.

He is survived by his children, Damon Harris of St. Robert, Missouri, Darryl Frank Harris of Columbus, and Terrica Chandler of Manassas, Virginia; siblings, Geraldine Harris Petty, Odis Harris, Sylvester Harris and Dian Patmon, all of Columbus, and Ira Harris of Chicago, Illinois; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
