SULLIGENT, Ala. — Therond “Junior” Adams Jr., 60, died June 24, 2025, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

Funeral services are at 5 p.m. Friday, at Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with James Godsey, Bryan Reeves and Chris Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Chandler Funeral Home of Vernon is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Adams was born Sept. 28, 1964, in Columbus, to the late Therond Adams Sr. and Katherine Langford Adams. He was formerly employed as a truck driver.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Terry Adams, Randy Adams, Debbie Adams and Cathy Adams Parrott.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Adams; children, Therond Justin Angerer, Jeremy Carter, Megan Bryant, Kaite Adams, Haley Adams, Joey Adams, Shelby Adams, Alexis Adams, Timothy Adams, Matthew Adams and Christopher Adams; sisters, Donna Dobbins, Ruby Reery, Bobbie Dison and Mae Edwards; and a host of grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Randall Parrott, Jerandol Welch, James Shackelford, Jackie Godsey, Brad Dison, Jason McDowell, Ryan Eiynck and Dalton Adams.
