COLUMBUS — Thechare McChriston, 46, died Sept. 6, 2025. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Southside M.B. Church, with Andy Stewart III officiating. Burial will follow at Center Hill A.M.E. Church cemetery in Duck Hill. Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Friday, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. McChriston was born July 18, 1979, in Columbus, to Theressie Jones and the late Rev. Robert McChriston. She was a graduate of Columbus High and East Mississippi Community College. She was a member of Maranatha Faith Center. 

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Andy Stewart III; and brother, Thaddieus Jones of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Pallbearers will be George Lowe Jr., Just George, Pastor Jona Soto, Minister Nathan Anaya, Pastor Jonathan Ladouceur, Minister Patrick House Jr., Christen Dukes, Colby Edmond, Jaydon Parker, Pastor XaKylan Johnson and Minister Nathan Carroll.
