VERNON, Ala. — Teddy Freeman Jones, 44, died Feb. 17, 2026, at his residence.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Otts Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services and burial followed at Bethel Cemetery. Visitation was one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Otts Funeral Home of Sulligent was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Jones was born Dec. 23, 1981, in Fayette, to Willene Jones and the late Petty Jones. He was formerly employed with Bill Wheeler Body Shop and in the oil field industry in Texas.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Alexis Martin, Christopher Blanton, LaTanya Camp and Caden Jones; and siblings, Ginger Jones, Mary Jones and Rico Minor.

Pallbearers were Eric Turner, James Johnson, Paul Wheeler, Lee Myers, Brandon Baptist, Eddie Woods, Brad Cooper and Michael Matthews.
