NOXUBEE COUNTY — Shomorri Rashawn “Mason Boy” Mason, 32, died Nov. 29, 2025, at Noxubee General Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Mt. Carmel M.B. Church in Macon, with Jack Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Church Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-5 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Macon is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Mason was born July 22, 1993, in Noxubee County, to Foster Brooks and Thelma Shaw. He was formerly employed with Noxubee County Nursing Home and was a member of Mt. Carmel M.B. Church.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Tadrian Shaw.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Mia Shaw and Anthony Shaw, both of Macon.

Pallbearers are Malik Sanders, Jalan Ivy, Timmy Smith Jr., Ladarius King, Tyler Sanders and Tabitha Washington.
