COLUMBUS — Shirley Nell Johnson, 74, died Jan. 3, 2026, at Trinity Place Retirement Community.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, at Lone Oak Church of Christ Cemetery in Steens. Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Johnson was born Feb. 25, 1951, in Columbus, to the late Mike E. and Iva Nell Ussery Johnson. She was a graduate of Caledonia High School and was formerly employed with the Social Security Administration, the Commercial Dispatch and Rite Aid.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Johnson.

She is survived by her sister, Florence Ann Stokes of Columbus.
