COLUMBUS — Sheryl Lynn Burchett-Smith, 53, died Dec. 10, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.

Funeral services will be held at a later date. Lowndes Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James William Burchett and Peggy Jean Wright Burchett.

She is survived by her daughters, Paige Wright and Ashley Burchett; sister, April Burns; and one grandchild.
