SULLIGENT, Ala. — Sherryl Pauline Cyr, 77, died Nov. 10, 2025, at her residence.

Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, at Mt. Harmony F.W.B. Church, with Rodney Brazil officiating. Otts Funeral Home of Sulligent is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Cyr was born Oct. 16, 1948, in Westbrook, Maine, to the late Colby L. Berry and Thelma P. Prindall. She was a graduate of Portland High School and a member of Sulligent First Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jonathan L. Cyr; son, Shawn Martin; stepdaughter, Joy Lynn Cyr; and siblings, Joseph Blake, Sharon Palang and Dawn Smith.

She is survived by her children, Sarah White of Millport, Sandra Hayes of Tipton, Georgia, Robin Cyr of Maine, and Beacher Cyr of Columbus; stepsons, John Cyr Jr. of Opp, Joseph Cyr of Portland, and Terry Henson of Casco; siblings, Charles Blake of Portland, Earl Gary Blake of North Adams, Massachusetts, Lisa Nickerson of Unity, Mary Seavey of Windham, and Doris Chavez of Pensacola, Florida; 26 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
