STURGIS — Sheila Diane Smith, 67, died March 10, 2026, in Ackerman.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Josey Creek M.B.Church in Starkville. Burial will follow at Josey Creek Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. Friday at West Memorial Funeral Home. West Memorial Funeral Home of Starkville is in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her son, Lavontraon Smith of Starkville; siblings, Oscar Smith and Sarah Smith, both of Starkville, Renea Smith and Izellia Smith, both of Atlanta, Georgia, and Stephanie Crumble of Des Moines, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
