COLUMBUS — Sarah Ann Brewer, 79, died Oct. 17, 2025. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at New Prospect M.B. Church, with Timothy Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Wicks Memorial Garden. Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Friday, at Lee-Sykes Funeral Home. Lee-Sykes Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Brewer was born Aug. 26, 1946, in Columbus, to the lateEllis Windham and Eliza Davis. She was a graduate of R.E. Hunt High School and was formerly employed at Ruth’s Clothing Store, United Technology and in home health. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Terry, Winetta and Annie; and brother, Jessie. 

She is survived by her sons, Eric Brewer and Ennis Brewer; sister, Jeanette Smith; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
