COLUMBUS — Santonio “Red P” Pierre Harris, 42, died Sept. 26, 2025. 

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, at United Christian Baptist Church, with the Rev. Rickey Bowden officiating. Burial will follow at Beulah Grove Full Gospel Baptist Church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Friday, at Carter’ sFuneral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Harris was born April 5, 1983, in WEst Point, to Sammy Harris and Gail Harris. He was a graduate of Columbus High School and East Mississippi Community College. He was formerly employed at B&W in West Point, Ellis Steel and Fabrication Supply. 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his  wife, Susie Harris; children, Anthony Harris, Timothy Robinson, Shamiyah Doss and Pierre Harris; siblings, Sammie Harris Jr., Samuel Blanchard and Maryetta Porter; and one grandchild. 

Pallbearers will be Christopher Richardson Sr., Pierre Weaver, Ellis Ross, Demarcus Bynum, Christopher Anderson, T.K. Tate, Samuel Blanchard and James Carlos Daniels.
