MERIDIAN — Sandra Dee Rice, 68, died June 12, 2026, at Anderson Hospital in Meridian. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, at Woodlawn C.M.E. Church in Macon with Vicki G. Tate officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Thursday, at Lee-Sykes Funeral Home. Lee-Sykes Funeral Home of Macon is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Rice was born January 16, 1958, in Macon, to the late John L. Mayberry and Johnnie Mae Wells. She was a member of Woodlawn C.M.E. Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Virgil Wells Jr. and LeeVaur Mayberry. 

She is survived by her husband, Theodis Rice; sons, Marco Robinson Sr., Rafael Robinson and Alex L.L. Robinson; daughter, Ashley Robinson; brothers, Kenneth Mayberry and Derrick; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
