COLUMBUS — Sammie “Bo” Lee Williams, 66, died Jan. 10, 2016, at his residence. Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Genesis Church with the Rev. Kenny Bridges officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. Visitation is today from 3-8 p.m. at Carter’s Funeral Services. Mr. Williams was born Oct. 8, 1949, to the late O.D. Williams and Mary Lee Williams. He was employed by Golden Triangle Waste Management. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, John D. Williams, James E. Williams and Wade Williams. He is survived by his wife, Virgie M. Williams of Columbus; children, Jackie M. McCullough of Newnan, Georgia, France E. Neal, Sayonara Jones, Tawanda S. Dukes and Travis D. Sherrod, all of Columbus; siblings, Betty J. Jones, Laura Hopkins, Susie A. Williams, Otis Williams, Tommy Williams, Nathaniel Williams, Freddie Williams, Arthur Williams, Lewis Williams, Bobby Hill, Kenneth Williams, Mattie Allen, Leon Williams, Bobby Williams, Lucious Williams, Patricia Williams, Fernandez Williams, Eddie J. Williams,Teri White, Diane Williams and Willie Mae Frazier; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
