STARKVILLE — Ruth Bush Rice, 66, died Sept. 23, 2025. 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Beth-el M.B. Church. Burial will follow at Truvine Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Friday, at West Memorial Funeral Home. West Memorial Funeral Home of Starkville is in charge of arrangements. 

She is survived by her husband, Tommie Lee Rice Sr.; mother, Sarah P. Outlaw-Bush of Starkville; daughters, Annie Kelly of Starkville; sons, Dentavies Bush and Tommie Jr; siblings, Mary, Elizabeth, Annie, Dorothy, Samuel, Roxanne, Teresa of Starkville,  Emily of Tupelo, Linda of Augusta, Georgia, Edward of Jacksonville, Florida, Carl, Vannessa and Kenneth of Starkville; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
