SULLIGENT, Ala. — Ruby Murphy, 87, died June 24, 2025, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
No services will be held. Otts Funeral Home of Sulligent is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Murphy was born Dec. 16, 1937, in Alabama, to the late Thomas Humbers and Myrtle Corbell Humbers. She was formerly employed as a seamstress in the Garment Factory.
In addition to her parents, he was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Amos Murphy; and children, Myrtle Mae Aldridge and Charles Thomas Murphy.
She is survived by her children, William Glenn Murphy and Sara Downey, both of Sulligent; 16 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
