STARKVILLE — Rosie Mae Wiliams, 94, died Nov. 14, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point.
Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Saturday, at First Church of Christ Holiness USA, with Jessie Johnson Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Greater Ebenezer M.B. Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Friday at Hairston and Hairston Funeral Homes. Hairston and Hairston Funeral Homes of Starkville is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Williams was born Dec. 4, 1930, in Crawford, to the late Lee Green Jr. and Lexie Hairston. She was a 1949 graduate of OCTS and was formerly employed as a restaurant manager with Dreamland Cafe and as an agent and secretary with Mississippi Funeral Services.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Williams; son, Derrick Williams; siblings, McKinley Hairston, Bennie Will Vaughn, Percy Green, James Robert Green, Lee Humphrey Green, Lula Mae Smith, Aerie Marie Jones and Allie Will Robinson.
She is survived by her children, Deborah Bishop, Lori Evans and Ross Williams; sister, Betty Nicholson; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
