BROOKSVILLE — Rosie Tameka Tate, 49, died Nov. 23, 2025, at Noxubee General Hospital in Macon.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Prairie Point Baptist Church, with Montrell Rucker officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Lee-Sykes Funeral Home of Macon is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Tate was born Sept. 19, 1976, in Noxubee County, to Etta Godwin.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her siblings, Marcell Tate, Letina Tate, Ricky Smith, all of Macon, James Tate Jr. of Brooksville, Palmala and Kimberly Stewart Joiner.
