Ronald Marion “Ron” Bailey age 84 died Friday, September 26, 2025, at his residence in Caledonia.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Egger Cemetery with Chaplin Todd Mordecai officiating.

Mr. Bailey was born in Rutledge, Alabama, on October 29, 1940, to the late Marion C. Bailey and Mae Russell Bailey.

Mr. Bailey was a member of New Salem Baptist Church and a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a retired firefighter at Columbus Air Force Base.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sons, Steven Keith Bailey and Marty Bailey; and his brother, Michael Bailey.

Survivors include his wife, Norene Bailey; brother, Robert Bailey; three grandchildren, Ian Bailey (Aynsley), Evan Bailey and Zane Bailey (Genesis); five great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law and caregiver, Jennifer Fuller.
