MILLPORT, Ala. — Roger Dean Cash, 89, died Sept. 11, 2025, at Fayette Long Term Care.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel, with Ronnie Elmore and Jerry Robbins officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Reform. Visitation will be one hour prior to services in the chapel. Dowdle Funeral Home of Millport is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Cash was born to the late Herbert and Pearl Cash. He was a graduate of Millport High School and a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was formerly employed as a mechanic and in the maintenance department at Weyerhaeuser Company in Millport. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Vickie Dianne Cash Trull; siblings, an infant brother, Hilda Cash Wells, Joyce Cash Knight, Ruth Cash Bartlett; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Elmore Cash; children, Denita Belk Phillips, Terry Belk, Judy Belk Deese, Kim Cash Burt and Chris Cash; sister, Charlene Gretzmeyer; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers are Kevin Phillips, Josh Deese, Kyle Trull, Cade Cash, Hagen Burt, Jeremy Elmore, Jeremy Mordecai, Casey Elmore and Jared Elmore.
