SULLIGENT, Ala. – Robert E. Tew, 80, died July 22, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

Graveside services are at 5:30 p.m. Friday, at the Gilmer Addition of Sulligent City Cemetery, with Aaron Gann officiating. Visitation will be from 5-5:30 p.m. prior to services at the cemetery. Otts Funeral Home of Sulligent is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Tew was born Oct. 15, 1944, in Quitman, to the late Leroy Tew and Edna Todd Tew.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Roy Tew and Leuwattis Allen. He was a Mississippi high school graduate and was formerly employed with ALCOA.

He is survived by his wife, Priscilla Tew of Sulligent; son, Eric Tew of Sulligent; and three grandchildren.
