BROOKSVILLE — Robert Holmes Temkovits, 78, died May 12, 2026, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Hill and Moor in Crawford. Cockrell Funeral Home of Macon is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Temkovits was born April 29, 1948, in Columbus, to the late Charles Albert and Mary Dell Holmes Temkovits. He was a graduate of East Mississippi Community College and Delta State University and was formerly employed as owner of Tem’s One, Tem’s Two and the Texaco/Shell stores and a fish farm.

He is survived by his wife, Dr. Laurin Temkovits; daughters, Michelle Temkovits Parker and Julie Anne Temkovits; brother, Charlie Temkovits; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
