MACON — Robert Lee Robinson, 67, died Jan. 7, 2016, at Noxubee County Nursing Facility in Macon. Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Woodlawn CME in Macon with the Rev. Eddie B. Robinson. Burial will follow at Woodlawn CME. Visitation is today from noon-6 p.m. at Carter’s Funeral Service of Macon. Mr. Robinson was born Dec. 20, 1948, to the late Eddie D. Robinson and Lucille White Robinson. He was previously employed as a farmer by Lane Dairy Farm and was a member of Woodlawn CME Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Mary Louise Robinson, Alice Cook, Amanda Linda Joiner, Bascom Robinson, Joe Robinson and Willie Robinson. He is survived by his siblings, Henry James Robinson of St. Louis, Missouri, Eddie B. Robinson Sr., George Lee Robinson, Viola Robinson and Lucille Robinson Hatcher, all of Macon. Pallbearers will be Chris Hatcher, Ayatti Hatcher, George Robinson Jr., Randy Jenkins, Mahlan Robinson and Felix Russ Jr.
