COLUMBUS – Robert Earl Nalls, 80, died April 17, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle. 

Visitation will be from 4-5 p.m. Saturday, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services in Columbus is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Nalls was born on March 13, 1946, in Winfield, Alabama, to the late Robert Lee Nalls and Mary Olean Nalls. He was formally employed as a mason. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Lucille Nalls; son, Rodney Nalls; and two grandchildren. 

He is survived by his children, Luther Hackman, Sheila Nalls, Shervica Nalls, Voltaire Nalls, Tony Hackman and Larry Hackman, Jr.; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
