BROOKSVILLE — Robert E. Johnson, 74, died Jan. 19, 2026, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. at Mount Ary M.B. Church, with Joe Dantzler officiating. Burial will follow at Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Friday, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Macon is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Johnson was born April 20, 1951, in Noxubee County, to the late Sam Frazier and Julia Mae Johnson Frazier. He was formerly employed at Waters Truck and Tractor. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Teri Frazier Hall and Tommy Frazier. 

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Johnson; children, Albert Wells of Macon, Ambriel Johnson, Ryiam Johnson, and De’Angelo Johnson Sr., all of Brooksville; siblings, Ann Williams of Shubuta and Delois Hill of Columbus; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
