Robert Henry Jinks, 88, died Nov. 27, 2009, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle. Local arrangements are being handled by Memorial Funeral Home of Columbus. Services will be conducted at a date that will be announced by Kirby Funeral Home of Homer, Ill. Mr. Jinks was born May 23, 1921, in Homer, to the late Claude V. and Blanche Darr Jinks. He was a retired farmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by hid wife, Jean McKean Jinks; and son, John Jinks. He is survived by his daughters, Tammy Craddock of Columbus, and Terry Danner of Rochelle, Ill.; son, Claud Jinks of Olympia, Wash.; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
