STARKVILLE — Robert J. Cooper, 69, died June 1, 2026. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Mt. Peiler M.B. Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Peiler Cemetery II. Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. Friday, at West Memorial Funeral Home. West Memorial Funeral Home of Starkville is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Cooper is survived by his daughter, Robin Marie Cooper of Starkville; step children, Walter Collins and Sanora Collins; sisters, Helen Cooper and Allie Poe, both of Starkville; brothers, Charles Cooper of Ackerman, Willie B. Cooper of Atlanta, Georgia and Herman Cooper of Maben.
