MACON —  Robert Barnes, 86, died May 3, 2026. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Rock Hill United Methodist Church in Starkville. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-6 p.m. Friday, at West Memorial Funeral Home. West Memorial Funeral Home of Starkville is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Barnes is survived by his sister, Henrene Sullivan.
