MILLPORT, Ala. — Robbie Dean Vail, 88, died July 1, 2026.

Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Sunday, at Springhill Baptist Church in Millport, with Matthew Fancher and Drew Moore officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery. Visitation was one hour prior to services at the church. Dowdle Funeral Home of Millport was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Vail was born Dec. 13, 1937, in Vernon, to the late William Jefferson Glasgow and Edna Earl Glasgow. She was formerly employed as a supervisor with United Technology.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Bobby Vail.

She is survived by her daughters, Gail Vail, Belinda Hancock and Teresa Thomas; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Chad Hancock, Bobby Reeves, Gabriel Daniels, Tyler Tate, Justin Shaw, Fisher Godfrey and Briggs Shaw.
