STARKVILLE — Ricky Howard, 65, died March 2, 2206, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Beth-el M.B. Church. Burial will follow at Beth-el Cemetery. Visitation is from 3-6 p.m. Friday at the church. West Memorial Funeral Home of Starkville is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Dr. Zel Talley-Howard, PhD; children, Shelia Braxton and Jarvis Talley, both of Atlanta, Georgia; siblings, Robert Cummings, Sammy Ellis, Marvell Howard, Lora Hogan, Rhonda Mobley and Joseph Howard, all of Starkville, and Fran Howard of Houston, Texas; and seven grandchildren.
