Richard Wayne Humphreys, 69 of Ethelsville, AL, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 27, 2025, from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Service will be Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS with Bro. Mike Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Christian Chapel Cemetery in Millport, Alabama. Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS will be directing.

Mr. Humphreys was born on October 24, 1956, in Columbus, MS, to the late Richard Humphreys and Marie Hughes Humphreys. He was a truck driver for many years. Mr. Humphreys was an avid Alabama Football Fan- ROLL TIDE.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Humphreys is preceded in death by his sister, Shelia Daniel; and two brothers, Jerry Dale Humphreys and Harold Humphreys.

Mr. Humphreys is survived by his sons, Jerry (April) Humphreys and Joe Humphreys; grandchildren, Garrett Humphreys, Carson Humphreys, Katelyn Blalock, Aubrie Humphreys, Elijah Humphreys and Caleb Humphreys; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Homer Humphreys, Carl Humphreys, Ronnie Adams and Donnie Adams; and a host of nieces and nephews.
