Randy Edward Fortenberry, 60, of Caledonia, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025, from pneumonia, surrounded by those who loved him most. Born August 20, 1965 in Jackson, Mississippi, Randy grew up with an infectious sense of humor and a generous heart that touched everyone he met.

A proud graduate of Forrest Hills High School, Class of 1983, Randy later married the love of his life, Panda Fortenberry in 2000. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, loyalty, and plenty of affection for their cherished fur babies, Elvis, MaeMae, and RooRoo. A die-hard Auburn University football fan, Randy could often be found cheering on his team with unmatched enthusiasm. Randy’s quick wit and love for “cutting up” made him the life of every gathering. He was a gifted storyteller, a loyal friend, and a devoted son, brother, and uncle who treasured time with his nieces and nephews. His talent for writing and his ability to bring joy through words and laughter will be remembered by all who knew him.

Randy is survived by his wife, Panda Fortenberry; his mother, Myrna Fortenberry; and his brother, Milton Andrew Fortenberry. He was preceded in death by his father, Milton Edward Fortenberry.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
