BEAVERTON, Ala.  — Polly Stapp Mixon, 90, died May 1, 2026, at Arabella Health and Rehab in Vernon, Alabama. 

Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Monday, at Sulligent First Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Shiloh-Pinhook Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.  Otts Funeral Home of Sulligent, Alabama, is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Mixon was born Aug. 8, 1935, in Sulligent, to the late Paul and Alice Jackson Reeves. She was formerly employed at Reltoc and Home Health and was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph Stapp, Frank Mixon and James Mixon; brothers, Jimmy and Jerry Reeves; and one grandchild. 

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Christian of Vernon; sons, Danny Stapp of Vernon and Chris Mixon of Beaverton; brothers, Carl Reeves and Brock Reeves; sister, Barbara Nolen; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be Ben Pickle, Bill Reeves, Jim Reeves, Chase Richards, Hunter Motichek and Will Reeves.
