Perry Dismuke

ALBANY, Ga. — The Rev. Perry Dismuke, 67, died Dec. 17, 2025.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Zion Gate M.B. Church, with James A. Boyd officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.
Rev. Dismuke was born May 6, 1958, in Columbus, to the late Leonard Dismuke and Geneva Taylor Dismuke. He attended Barrow Elementary School, Mitchell Elementary School, Hunt High School, Joe Cook Elementary School, Caldwell High School and was a 1978 graduate of Motley High School. He was also a graduate of East Mississippi Technical College and attended the Ministerial Institute and College in West Point. He was formerly employed with Sesser Chevrolet, the City of Columbus, Mississippi Department of Transportation, Wallace Chevrolet, Albany Honda and Woodgrain Millworks. He was a member of Zion Gate M.B. Church, Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Church, Berachah Fellowship Church and Greater Faith and Deliverance Ministries.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Minister Demorris Dismuke; and siblings, Eddie James Dismuke, Robert Dismuke, Richard Dismuke, Tommie Dismuke, Charlie Dismuke, Willie Earl Dismuke, Flora Whitfield and Sarah Williams.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa Ann Moore Dismuke; daughter, Frances Samaria Dismuke; siblings, Hattie Louise Richey, Leonard Dismuke Jr., Jerry Dismuke and Willie Houston Dismuke; and two grandchildren.
