NOXUBEE COUNTY — Percy Lee “Reece” Reece, 77, died Sept. 25, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Mt. Zion M.B. Church in Brooksville, with Mack Young officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation is from 1-5 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Macon is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Reece was born Nov. 4, 1947, in Newton, to the late Pervis Reece and Ruthie Reece. He was a graduate of Alcorn University and Mississippi State University and was formerly employed with the Noxubee County School District. He was a member of Mt. Zion M.B. Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jerome Reece.
He is survived by his wife, Willie Mary Wayne Reece of Macon; children, Phyllis R. Sharp of Atoka, Tennessee, Katina R. Reece of Atlanta, Georgia, Jennifer D. Skinner of Humboldt, and Sabrina J. Reece of Clarksville; sisters, Bobbie N. Grady of Pearl and Patricia Whitley of Terry; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Marcus Jamison, Sammie Wayne IV, Edderick Stewart, Otis Maxwell, J. R. Russ, Dirk Dickson, Ervin Latham and Herman Phillips.
